My eyes are bleary from reading all about L2 or Library 2.0. However, for as long as I have been working in libraries, the question has always been, "How do we get more users and how do we keep our old users?" We need to be relevant to as many different populations as possible. This means "techies", wanna-be techies, and the old-fashioned library users. I can definitely see some great uses for technology in library work, e.g. IM for reference. However, using technology just for the sake of technology doesn't make much sense to me. If it can be done better with technology, then sure. But, if just opening a dictionary to find a word's meaning will do the job, then okay to that, too!
I do feel like I am drowning in a sea of technology, so I hope this 23 things will help!
